the terror of the tag brush (i just needed a cool title)

Image
So essentially this photo is made entirely out of a tag brush which I created during my Digital Media class. I enjoy the combination of different colors so I did a bit of a 3d effect with some of the tags, and my favorite color is purple, so the blue and red are there sort of as a statement that even though they are apart, they can still create something beautiful. The combined of the blues, purples, greens, and reds create a sense of childlike wonder, as all playgrounds and items that are consistently shoved in the faces of children are multicolor.

i made a propaganda poster (and it was kind of fun)

So, when I was younger, I used to be obsessed with Instagram and I would spend hours on it daily. After a while of scrolling through my feed, it finally came across my mind that some of the posts I was seeing could be spreading misinformation. That is when I decided that from now on I will always do research on a subject before I fully form my opinion, and that listening to random people on the internet and taking it at face value wasn't the best thing for me. That is why I created this propaganda poster, to make sure that others don't fall into the same trap I did in middle school. I based it mainly off of older American propaganda posters that were used to get the young men of the time to enlist in the military. I mainly drew inspiration from the movie Captain America: The First Avenger, as I remember a specific scene of Steve Rogers looking up at a propaganda poster and deciding to join the Army. I also have a personal connection to the military, as ...

This is a piece of work I made in class that means a lot to me, as my entire life I have been infatuated with cameras, and since the age of 6 years-old I haven't been seen without one. Cameras have played and will play a large role in my life, as I really enjoy working with them and taking beautiful and colorful photos and videos.     I used the Shape tool, Pen tool, Envelope Distort tool and Direct Selection tool to create this image. I used the Pen tool to create the lens and legs of the camera, and the Shape tool to create the body of the camera. Afterwards I chose words that I liked from my letter and put them on the forefront of the camera to add some detail, then I included the letter in the background to fill the empty space.
